Nervous Excitement

It all started with a rumor of sorts...A coworker told a coworker who told a coworker... you get the point. Eventually, one coworker approached me about it: "I hear you like photography." My response? "Yeah, you could say that..." :)

As we chatted and scrolled through photos on my Facebook page, she made a few comments about what she liked about certain pictures. "How did you do that?" she'd ask every time. I told her I would be happy to help her learn. And that's how it all started....

Tomorrow I am getting together with a group of 5 amazing people who want to learn how to get out of Auto and take control of their photography! How inspiring are they?! And they want ME to help them! How sweet is that?!

I remember taking that step myself. It was exhilarating but a little scary. I didn't have anyone I knew to help me. I spent a lot of time reading and researching, begging family members and friends to let me practice, and reading and researching some more. Because of this, I am so incredibly honored that they trust me and asked me to lead them on this adventure! Honored, excited, and NERVOUS! In a good way :)

So be on the lookout for a sneak peek of tomorrow's awesome Workshop Session and leave me some tips on how you calm yourself down before something so exciting it makes you nauseous :)

And, because a blog post is always better with photos, here are some of my favorite photos of me doing what I love!
